Ok Val, thanks to your list I may now just have to dish out the cash for that George Michael ticket...dammit.
1. (tie) Pet Shop Boys 'Discovery' - Entertainment Centre, Sydney; Everything But The Girl 'Walking Wounded' Metro Theatre, Sydney
2. (tie) Coldplay 'Parachutes Tour'- Enmore Theatre, Sydney; Scissor Sisters - Metro Theatre, Sydney & Good Vibrations Festival.
3. (tie) Massive Attack 'Mezzanine Tour' - Enmore Theatre, Sydney; Kings Of Leon - Horden Pavillion, Sydney
4. Placebo (all four tours) -different venues, Sydney
5. (tie) Kylie Minogue 'Fever' and U2 'Zoo T.V.' Sydney
Honourable mentions: Muse, Sugababes (original members), Manic Street Preachers, Catatonia, Prince, Pink, Eurythmics, Garbage (twice)...
...and have a sneaky suspicion that James Morrison's acoustic set this weekend @ The Vanguard, Toni Collette and the Finish @ the Newtown RSL and Kylies 'Showgirl Homecoming' may just increase those double tie's to triple!
Wishlist: Would LOVE to see George Michael!!!!
...Forward to my last comment...James Morrison DID make my gig of the year so far...and another two I forgot that I would have to squeeze somewhere into my fav's list was Jamiroquai out in the Forecourt of The Sydney Opera House under the stars and Crowded House's absolute farewell concert at the same place, albeit three years earlier!!
Rich, I think I might have to force you and MK to do another sorting on your lists. This is TOP 5 not 10/15!! :-)
